Taking insight on the road.

After nearly 3 decades of marriage and family life, Stuart and Carolyn have plenty of real-life experience to draw upon to support other families through focusing on relationships and parenting.

Sharing their real stories of success and failure, Carolyn and Stuart are refreshingly down-to-earth. They do not present themselves as the perfect couple with the perfect family because it just isn't like that. They have everyday hurdles to face just like everyone else.

When Carolyn and Stuart bring their couples and parenting seminars on the road, you'll get more than professional training and expertise. You and your partner, along with many other couples, will have a conversation with allies who want to give you encouragement and hope whilst inviting each person to grow.

The 'Make it Better' Marriage Series

Communication

We’ve all been listening and speaking since we were children. But, we take it for granted and often lack knowledge around what is actually happening when we talk to one another.

This seminar helps couples learn about what drives good communication and how each person can effectively take responsibility for good communication so that they can hear and be heard in their relationship.

When Communication isn't enough

We've been communicating well enough to understand where each person is coming from but we're still not on the same page. What happens when conflict can't be resolved with a conversation?

Strong Foundations

In the early years of a relationship, it is important to build a strong foundation and as your relationship matures, it can be helpful to regularly check in and reinforce it so that you can continue to grow together.

This seminar helps couples to identify the important values they share, and also unearth those that are no longer serving the relationship so that couples can let go and move forward together.

The Dance of Intimacy

The sexual relationship is a core aspect of every marriage and yet can sometimes be a frustrating and disappointing experience. Different sex drives, expectations and desires are inevitable in every marriage no matter who you are paired with. Nothing is wrong. It can be worked on.

Take a step towards bringing back, or even increasing, the joy of sex with your partner by exploring the different ways in which you can intentionally build connection and desire.

Doing Conflict Well

Conflict is inevitably seen as negative. However, when we are in conflict with our partners, we are usually at our most transparent and vulnerable (which can lead to greater connection and intimacy).

This seminar shows couples how to transform conflict into a potentially enriching experience for the relationship.

Personalities in relationships

They say opposites attract, but just how true is that? This fun and engaging seminar uses the popular DISC model to give each person a framework for understanding the way different personalities function together in a relationship.

DISC is only ever an interpretation of human behaviour but is a useful roadmap for finding awareness and acceptance. When you understand DISC, what once annoyed you about your partner may become a point of endearment.

The 'Parent in Charge' Series

Developing Character

This seminar series focuses focuses on developing obedience, responsibility and self-control in your child.

Parent as Coach

This series helps parents navigate the transition from the 'Command and Control' type of parenting typical of the earlier years to the 'Parent as Coach' approach of the teen years.

Personalities and Parenting

DISC provides a framework for understanding yours and your childs' personalities, giving you a roadmap to better navigate your parenting relationship with them.
